after watching bridesmaids for the 5th time….

I came to the conclusion that the cute cop that everyone loves is kind of a winey bitch. when i said this to my friends last night everyone defended him b/c kristen wiig’s character is such a fuck up. i do agree she is a hot mess, but after thinking about it for a while here’s what i’ve come up with: yes, she is a total fuck up, her life is a mini disaster, she’s terrible at making choices, and she’s slow on the uptake when a dude actually likes her. but where as meghan comes over and pushes her around until she fights back and actually tells her to get her shit together in an honest and badass way, “cute” cop is mean to her, makes her feel bad about herself, and is unwilling to have a real conversation with her(yelling at someone only counts as a conversation when i’m doing it). and that is what the rest of their relationship will look like: she will fuck up, b/c that is who she is, and he will make her feel shitty about herself for fucking up until she has apologized enough for his taste. some day meghan will tell her this relationship is bad for her and that she is basically backsliding in her life b/c his reaction to her fuck ups is so negative and she will leave him for a man who knows how to force a conversation when one is needed and will build her up instead of tearing her down. and the only reason she’ll have this out from the shitty relationship is because she has an amazing friend who wasn’t afraid to tell her the truth.

ok, i feel better now.
