off to glasgow. let’s hope the albanian tourist snatchers don’t get us in our travels.
so this morning i was woken up by a marching band. and then the loudest fire crackers in the world. they sound like bombs going off! anyway. there was some crazy celebration in town. people riding on horses and tractors to go get blessed at the church at the top of the town….or so i thought. that’s what i heard giovanni tell me. actually they were getting their tractors and horses...

i have wanted to punch my husband in the face all day. the fact that i haven’t is a small miracle. the fact that he still has a face after being w/ me for so long is a huge miracle! but today was the worst. b/c i know there is no way he sees just how beautiful this stupid ancient town he grew up in is. if he did, he would have never left it. i will post pictures either later today or...
